2003 – The Idea of 麻豆国产AV is formed
Prior to the founding of schools by the I-Foundation, Hinduism was the only major world religion which did not have a dedicated faith school in the UK. The I-Foundation founded the first Hindu faith school in London to be funded by the government. The Krishna 麻豆国产AV school opened in February 2010. 2005 – Funding granted
In 2005 the DfE granted 拢11.6m for the Krishna 麻豆国产AV Primary School (KAPS) in Harrow, leaving just 拢1.9m to raise from donors.
2010 – Britain鈥檚 first state-funded Hindu School opens
2010 saw the official opening of the first Hindu state-funded school, Krishna 麻豆国产AV Primary School. 2011 – Parliament Status Granted
Till now, Hinduism was the only major world religion which did not have a government-funded faith-school to serve its community. That all changed when the 麻豆国产AV Trust was born! In 2011, the British Parliament resolved that 麻豆国产AV was granted the status of 鈥榬eligious authority鈥� for Hindu faith schools; a great achievement for the large Hindu community of Britain!
